With over 30 years legal experience each, both Karen and Fiona have developed McQueenie Boyle into a quality legal practice offering approachable and friendly legal advice for all your legal matters.
As a solicitor and business woman, Karen has experience in a wide spectrum of skills, from helping clients through difficult times in their lives such as the death of a loved one or breakdown of their marriage; to the complicated processes of property transactions; to the management of staff and including the training of apprentices.
Originally from Bangor, Karen Studied Law and Social Administration at Nottingham University and attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queens, qualifying as a Solicitor in 1991.
Karen gained a wealth of experience in her professional career, and eventually setup her own practice in her home town of Bangor in 2001, KM & Co.
Karen was joined by Fiona Boyle in 2005 to expand and diversify the business, where upon KM & Co. was rebranded to McQueenie Boyle Solicitors.
Fiona graduated from Queens University and qualified as a Solicitor in 1991. Fiona has been on the Children Order Panel, a group of Solicitors who are registered by the Law Society as approved to represent children in specified proceedings, since its inception in 1996, and has been an accredited member continuously from that date. Fiona deals extensively for Guardians and parents in Care Order applications and has gained extensive experience and reputation.
Fiona also deals with all aspects of Separation, Divorce, Financial Settlements, Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements and Co-Habitation issues and has gained a reputation in this field of work as providing sound practical advice in relation to the split in respect of Matrimonial Homes, Pensions and Lump Sums.
Fiona is also a trained collaborative lawyer specialising in what is more commonly referred to as the ‘friendly Divorce.’
Fiona is an Advanced Advocate and was awarded a Certificate in Advanced Advocacy skills by the Law Society of Northern Ireland and The National Institute for Trial Advocacy
